If you are or intend to enroll in a certificate or degree program at Mesa College, we strongly recommend that you meet regularly with a counselor to discuss your long-term 计划. We’re here for you in more ways than one, 和 students have the option to meet with a counselor in-person, online via Zoom, by telephone or submit quick questions 通过电子邮件.

资格
You are eligible for a counseling appointment if you meet the following criteria:
- Are currently enrolled in at least one class at Mesa,
- Have completed a semester of college coursework, 和
- Have all transcripts from outside of California received 和 evaluated, if applicable. Note: Transcript evaluation is a two step process. 必须寄送正式成绩单 到地区(第一步). Upon receipt of transcripts, an evaluation must then be 请求(步骤2).

Expectations for Remote 咨询 Sessions

Two-hour long pre-registration workshops are designed to help first time college students learn about the different educational opportunities available to them. 学生 will gain an underst和ing of the various educational pathways, resources to register for classes, 和 develop a one to two semester abbreviated 教育计划 有咨询团队. First-time college students must complete the 网络方向 和 have assigned milestones for reading, writing 和 math prior to attending a workshop. *Please note: workshops are conducted through ZOOM, a web-based video conferencing 应用程序.

International 学生 Employment Workshop - students will learn more about working in the United States while attending as an international student at 澳门金沙官网. 这个研讨会是强制性的 to anyone seeking either on- or off-campus employment authorization or if it has been more than 1 semester since you last attended this workshop.
International 学生 Departure Workshop – 学生 whose I-20 immigration document to study abroad at 澳门金沙官网 is about to expire or could be pending their last semester in Mesa F-1 are required to attend this workshop offered at the end of each semester. 在结束之前 their time at the college, international students have various forms to complete to maintain/transition their immigration status.
